The majority of the residents of the cities of northeastern Syria complain of the rise in the value of the US dollar against the Syrian pound, especially in recent times, which directly affected the citizens’ inability to obtain their daily necessities.Shop owners believe that the rise in the value of the dollar after two months of the ban imposed because of Corona contributed greatly to the weak purchasing power in the markets, expecting a greater increase in the value of the dollar and the collapse of the Syrian pound in the coming period, the value of the Syrian pound reached 1600 pounds against one dollar.
