Syria – NES demands opening border crossings for humanitarian aid

The Health Authority of NES in Syria denounced the lack of cooperation of the Syrian regime in detecting cases of coronavirus and helping in preventing its outbreak in the area, where the airport traffic from the capital Damascus to Qamishli was not disturbed, and new cases of coronavirus were discovered in al-Omran neighborhood in The City of Hasaka, the Health Authority in NES indicated that the neighborhood has been completely isolated, as medical services are provided to citizens detained in al-Omran neighborhood and all the requirements of the residents are fully secured on daily basis, The NES Health Authority called on the international community to work to open border crossings for humanitarian and health access to the region.
