Iraq – Analysts: Iran reduces its movements and activities in the region fearing from an American response similar to killing of Soleimani

Analysts emphasized that the attack on American oil companies and installations in Basra Governorate, southern Iraq, came by a decision from Iran by the factions and armed militias affiliated with them, in order to prove their influence and control over all regions of Iraq and to stop the work of companies and withdraw all workers and engineers from it, adding that the movements of the American army and its withdrawal from some military headquarters raise several questions, as they indicated that in the coming days Iraq will witness a lot of escalation and planning, whether from the American or Iranian side, especially since the military and political leaders in Washington expressed their intention to respond decisively and strongly to the Iranian attacks, which made Iran reduce its movements and activities in the region significantly, fearing an American response similar to the killing of Qassem Soleimani.
