Syria : Water cut off from Hasaka province again

The shelling of Turkish-backed armed opposition factions yesterday destroyed villages and towns in the north-western countryside of Hasaka province in northeastern Syria, and water-towed lines from the Village of Al-Alok through Um al-Kei village to the city of Hasaka and its environs and its villages, resulting in the line being cut off from service and water being cut off again from Hasaka, The People’s Municipality in the town of Tall Tamr and its water department, with Russian mediation and coordination with the Turkish side, were able to obtain a temporary suspension of military operations pending the repair of the severely damaged underground water line in the village of Um al-Kef.
