Iraq- Tourism sector in Kurdistan has been affected by the outbreak of corona in Iran

Experts pointed out that the tourism sector in the Kurdistan region of Iraq was significantly affected after the outbreak of the Corona virus in Iraq due to direct contact with neighboring Iran through the border ports in the region, the mayor of Erbil, Nabz Abdul Hamid, also confirmed that all the people who had the injury were returning from Iran, adding that the Tourism Authority issued a decision to prevent the entry of tourist groups to the region as a precautionary measure, and conducted several inspection campaigns for more than 1000 tourist facilities, an affirmation of the implementation of all health instructions issued by the Ministry of Health, and closed a number of them for their lack of commitment to preventive health measures.
