The city of Sulaimaniyah in the Kurdistan region of northern Iraq began to witness a new phenomenon called “street art” consisting of musical groups made up of Iranian musicians playing in the streets of the city to earn a living after they went to work in Kurdistan due to the deteriorating economic conditions in their country and the high percentage of unemployment.
