Arab 24 obtained exclusive shots of the wounded and killed during the crackdown by security forces on demonstrators in Najaf last night, a number of Iraqi demonstrators confirmed the presence of Iranian armed elements involved in the suppression of demonstrations.Meanwhile, Talal Bilal, first deputy governor of Najaf, announced his resignation in protest against the security authorities’ repression of demonstrators and in solidarity with the demands of the demonstrators, he also criticized the current government’s handling of the Iraqi people’s demonstrations, the death toll in Najaf has risen to 18 and 150 were injured due to excessive force used by riot police towards citizens.
