Iraq – Controversy after Al-Fayyad talks about plots being hatched against his country

A state of controversy took place within Iraqi political and popular circles after the national security adviser, Faleh al-Fayyad, talked about plots being hatched against his country and promising that he will take just measures of punishment for those who stood behind all the recent killings and violence that began in Baghdad to demand better public services and providing job opportunities as well as fighting corruption, which extended to the provinces in the south, analysts found that the accusations of conspiracy became a ready issue for the Iraqi judiciary, information, and intelligence services to accuse the elite protesters and some political blocs that support them, while others saw that this accusation indicates the existence of dangerous circles surrounding Iraq.
