Zeina Cooperative Society, in the village of Umm Al Nasr in the northern Gaza Strip, is working on the manufacture of various types of wooden toys that carry awareness and educational messages for children, such as fantasy toys, counting toys and exercise and movement toys for children with special needs, the toys are handmade by the women of the region who broke the men’s monopoly on the carpentry profession in the sector.
