Iraq – Visual art gallery embodies the ferry tragedy in Mosul

A visual art gallery was inaugurated by the Iraqi Syndicate of Artists under the slogan “In memory of the victims of the ferry tragedy” in Mosul, the center of Nineveh, northern Iraq. The gallery exhibited nearly 100 paintings that embody the ferry tragedy and the suffering experienced by its victims. The gallery also documents what Mosul went through during and after the sinking ferry incident, in a way that reflects the artists’ great sympathy towards the victims’ families.
