Artificial Limb Centre in the temporary capital of Aden in southern Yemen works to alleviate the suffering of hundreds of injured Yemenis as a result of war and battles in spite of the limited availability of support and raw material. Cases are welcomed from all Yemeni provinces to receive services and for the installation of the limbs that is made in the center.

Centre’s locally based employees work on the production of alternative artificial limbs for those with amputations after taking the appropriate measurements for both legs and hands, in addition to the manufacturer’s maintenance for previously produced limbs in spite of the scarcity of raw materials which is imported from abroad.
