Syria – Democratic Autonomous Administration stresses the need to maintain relations with US

Members of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Qamishli of Al-Hasakah governorate in northeast Syria stressed the need to maintain US-Syria relations and develop into a new stage of profound Democratic Autonomous Administration and US relations that do not contradict the notion of Syrian state protecting its borders on the one hand and resolving the Syrian crisis on the other. The members stressed the importance of US presence to protect the Kurds, as well as respond to threats and Iranian expansion in the region. In addition to that, terrorism in Syria, Iraq or any other part of the region is not over yet.
