Yemen – Seminar on empowering the health sector in Aden

The Civil Democratic Movement held a seminar on empowering the health sector in the capital Aden, south of Yemen. The seminar was attended by local authority officials and experts from the health sector and civil society organizations. Ghassan Al-Zamki, the undersecretary of Aden Governorate, affirmed that Aden’s local authority is paying the health sector special attention, since it is one of the most important sectors that highly impact the citizens’ lives, adding that the health sector will experience a qualitative leap by the end of 2019, stressing that health centers and hospitals will be rehabilitate and provided with the necessary equipment, medical supplies and new medicines.
