Tunisia – Arab Foreign Ministers meet to prepare for the Arab Summit

Arab foreign ministers held a meeting today in the capital Tunis in preparation for the Arab Summit in its 30th edition, which is scheduled to take place at the Conference Palace next Sunday. The preparatory meeting was attended by the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit and the Deputy Secretary General Hossam Zaki, where the ministers will be addressing twenty-one topics, including the most recent developments, in the forefront of which are the Saudi presidency’s report on the 29th Arab summit, the Secretary-General’s report on the joint Arab action, as well as the recent political developments in the Palestinian cause, and activating the Arab peace initiative, in addition to other developments and Israeli violations in Jerusalem. During the meeting, the ministers also discussed ways of supporting the Palestinian people and the occupied Golan Heights and other Arab matters.
