Yemen – Government forces seize sites in Abs, Hajjah (Exclusive Footage)

The Yemeni government forces were able to score a major advance, seizing several points and villages in the Abs District in Hajjah Governorate, breaking through the lines in Bani Hassan. The attack has resulted in liberating a number of sites and villages in Abs, including Al-Tawaher, Al-Abakerah, Al-Khad, down to Bani Kadish village and the line that links between Shafar and Gayran. As reported by field sources, the clashes killed a Houthi leader, along with dozens of other Houthi members, and many others were wounded and captured. The forces were also able to seize military equipment and vehicles that belong to the Houthis. It is worth mentioning that the Houthis had bombed a multi-storey hotel when the government forces arrived at the hotel’s vicinity. The engineering teams are working on demining the villages and roads as the people in the liberated villages welcome their efforts.
