Iraq – Analysts stress the need for Iraq to open up to Arab surroundings

Political analysts stressed that it has become necessary for Iraq to open up to the Arab surroundings, in order to enhance the political prospects and build stronger international relations with the region’s countries, especially the Arab Gulf, which has a powerful influence on international resolutions through the “Arab lobbies” in the European Union and the US side. This came following the Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, Marzouq Al-Ghanim’s visit to Baghdad to meet with the Iraqi Parliament Speaker, Mohamed Halboussi, and the Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi.
