Iraq – Erbil hosts a conference for business and tourism in the Philippines

The Philippine Embassy in Iraq is hosting a comprehensive business and tourism conference with a broad participation by 50 tourist and commercial companies in Kurdistan, with the aim of promoting tourism in the Philippines. The conference was held in Erbil, and it talked extensively about the Philippines and its most prominent tourist destinations. The Philippine ambassador presented a comprehensive introduction of his country that was addressed to the representatives of commercial and tourism companies in the region. During the conference, the Iraqi and Philippine sides discussed ways of enhancing bilateral ties and boosting cooperation opportunities, and they emphasized the need to strengthen bilateral relations in the fields of trade and investment.
