Syria – SDF evacuates around 1,000 civilians from Al-Baghuz to refugee camps in Hasakah

Mustafa Bali, the spokesperson and director of media relations for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), stated that the forces were able to evacuate around 1000 civilians from the last ISIS-held area in Baghuz, adding that the forces are conducting the necessary security measures to verify the civilians’ IDs, to make sure there are no sleeper cells among them. These procedures will be followed by listing their names and nationalities, and prepare them to be relocated to refugee camps in Al-Hasakah.
