Tunisia: Panama papers investigation
The Tunisian government issued a resolution states the opening of an investigation about the characters mentioned in the documents of Panama, which caused numerous infractions in Tunisia.
Perhaps misfortunes never come singly, Tunisia has earned a share of Panama papers scandals, which mentioned the names of more than twenty Tunisian characters who are involved in smuggling operations and fund bleaching.
The Tunisian government in its turn, issued a resolution to open an investigation on the figures mentioned in theses papers, in which the parliament formed a parliamentary committee to investigate the case, and they assured that all those involved in the documents, who compromised the public money will be punished according to the law and the Tunisian Constitution.
It is worthy to mention that the local and the international media have expressed their interest in these documents that reached more than eleven millions documents, which confirms the involvement of Arab figures in illegal operations.
