Philippines – Muslims and Christians walk as one for peace and non-violence

Under the slogan “Walk for peace, Stop the violence”, two huge groups of Muslims and Christians set out for two separate walks that eventually formed into one walk and to be assembled at a square in Philippines capital Manila. The purpose of this walk was advocating non-violence and confirming that both religions promote peace and love, condemn hate and spread the spirit of unity among all the different people. The walk of unity organized by the National Commission of Muslim Filipinos with the Philippine National Police happened because of the deadly explosions that the cities of Jolo and Zamboanga witnessed recently.
