Yemen – Displaced people continue to suffer from poverty and illness at Al-Rabat camp in Lahij

Exacerbated suffering of displaced people from Hudaydah due to the extreme poverty of the families at Al-Rabat camp in Lahij governorate, in addition to the illness eating away at their children. Baby Areej, whose father Mohammad Rajab was displaced because of the ongoing war between the Yemeni army and Houthis is one of the examples of poverty and illness. Mohammad Rajab is watching his baby slowly dying right in front of his eyes, as she needs two surgeries in her throat and foot. Other families at the camp are suffering from lack of basic life essentials, as well as the absence of services that facilitate their lives.
