Iraq – Demands for the children’s basic rights

The Iraqi High Commissioner for Human Rights arranged for an assembly with a group of children in capital Baghdad to demand for children’s rights to education, health, residence and parental care in participation with human rights activists and civil society organizations. This is due to the struggles of this category with lack of services, in addition to the noticeable percentage of children working as beggars, which is among the most imminent occurrences in Iraq and Arab countries.
