Syria – Warnings against the expanding of ISIS danger zone after US forces withdrawal

The co-president of Human Rights Watch of the Democratic Self Administration Khalid Ibrahim warned that the withdrawal of US forces from their regions will result in a defect in the political and military formulas in Syria. He pointed out that ISIS currently has control over large areas especially in the rural regions, stressing the need for the continuation of the international coalition with people of their regions to put an end to the social infrastructure of ISIS. Co-president of the Internal Affairs Committee Kan’an Barakat added that the withdrawal decision will have a negative effect on the internal situation in northern Syria and neighboring regions due to the existence of terrorist networks that are making several moves especially in regions they are currently in.
