Palestine – Hamas marks 31st anniversary in Gaza rally

The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” celebrated its 31st inception anniversary today by staging a mass rally in the battalion arena west of Gaza, where thousands of Palestinians gathered at the parade site since Sunday morning. The parade was attended by representatives of Palestinian factions and Hamas leaders, most notably the head of the political bureau, Yahya al-Senwar. Members of the group’s military movement, the Izzddin al-Qassam Brigades, presented a military parade followed by speeches delivered by a number of Hamas officials and leaders of Palestinian factions. The participants raised many slogans that confirm the Palestinians’ commitment to resistance as a strategic preference in fighting the Israeli occupation.
