Kurds views on De Mistura documents
Kurds in the northeast of Syria had varied views on De Mistura statement that was issued by Staffan De Mistura, the UN envoy to Syria, including a set of common points between the regime and the opposition in the negotiations, which will be negotiated until the last minute, and some modifications to certain terms and expressions in the statement may be insurted.
Representatives of Kurdish parties in northeastern Syria think that the adjustable De Mistura statement issued by the UN envoy to Syria, Staffan De Mistura, which includes a set of common points between the regime and the opposition in the negotiations, is nothing more than paper work that has not been submitted to the Security Council yet. They also believed it considered the answers that were agreed upon by the opposition and the regime, not certified.
Kurdish parties also see this statement as not meeting any of the Syrian crisis solutions that can hardly be found, especially after the deficiency that lasted five years, and the Kurdish parties described this statement as leading to the decentralization in Syria.
And another reason for the Kurds revolution on the statement is that it does not guarantee the rights of Kurdish people, neither their involvement in the negotiations.
