Iraq – Experts: Temporary exemption for Iraq from applying US sanctions against Iran is insufficient

Despite exempting Iraq from applying US sanctions against Iran for 45 days, economists believe that this period is not enough for Iraq to have electricity and gas for at least a year, so they advise Iraqi government to work on persuading USA to grant Iraq a full exemption from applying sanctions against Iran and keep it away from the US-Iranian conflict.
