Iraq – The art of sculpture brings life back to Mosul

The sculptor Qais Ibrahim launched his first art exhibition at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul. The exhibition showcased pieces of art that he created out of debris, rubble and remains of cars ISIS blew up in the city. The sculptor also showcased pieces that demonstrate the return of life and the development of the city after its liberation from terrorism. This exhibition aimed at sending a message to the people of Mosul that the city will not give up or lay down, and stressing that the city is rich with its youth that is capable of doing the impossible.
