Syria – Contradicting views on US sanctions against Iran

The citizens of Qamishli, Al-Hasakah had contradicting observations on the US sanctions against Iran. Some of them supported the sanctions hoping that they would overthrow the Iranian regime and bring freedom and joy to the Middle East, while others showed concerns that these sanctions might have undesirable impacts on the peoples of the region and the minorities in Iran, and they appealed to Arab and Islamic countries to unite in the face of western countries.
