Yemen – Dengue fever treatment center opened in Taiz

The UAE Red Crescent in Taiz Governorate opened the Dengue fever Center inside Al-Thawra General Hospital as part of the emergency response project following the spread of epidemics that hit the city and the countryside due to the heavy rains and the great displacement. Rates of dengue fever reached more than 2000 cases and about 10 deaths calculated by the Office of Public Health. The specialized centers will provide free medicine and tests for patients in addition to supporting the medical staff for one month as a first stage.
