Yemen – Protests continue in Taiz to denounce the deteriorating economic situation

Human rights activists continue to organize large popular rallies in Taiz governorate to protest against the deterioration of the living conditions of citizens in various aspects of life, in addition to the collapse of the economy in general, accompanied by a significant decline in the value of the local currency. Participants in the ongoing marches demanded that the government and the Arab Alliance should work to provide Yemenis with food and medicine and job opportunities for the thousands of unemployed youth in the province, warning that the continuation of the situation as it is will lead to a humanitarian disaster.
