Iraq – KRG shows progress in human rights aspects

The Coordinator of International Recommendations in the Kurdistan Regional Government, Dindar Zebari, stated that the eighth configuration of the Kurdistan Regional Government succeeded in maintaining security and stability and coexistence between the components of Kurdistan, while adhering to the principles and laws of human rights, despite the difficult conditions and crises experienced by the Territory during the past four years. He also pointed out that the region contained more than 1.5 Iraqi displaced and about 250 thousand Syrian refugees and they succeeded in providing all services to them, in addition to the handover of detainees from ISIS organization for the federal government, this came during a press conference held in Erbil city.
