Palestine – Gaza faces bankruptcy and economic collapse

The Gaza Strip is witnessing a severe economic crisis due to the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip for more than a decade ago, according to a recent World Bank report. The lack of liquidity and the weak flow of goods, manufactures and raw materials due to the siege imposed on the sector led to a recession in most of the commercial and industrial sectors, in addition to the rise in youth unemployment, which the World Bank report stated that it exceeded 70 percent.
