Syria – SDF announces the launch of the last battle against the remnants of ISIS in East Euphrates

The Syrian Democratic Forces announced the launch of the last phase of the liberation of Hajin area, the last strongholds of ISIS in the eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour east of the Euphrates River. The command of the forces explained that this campaign is aimed at eliminating the remnants of the organization in both Syria and Iraq, and that it was prepared in coordination with the International Coalition and the Iraqi army. The spokesman of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Keno Gabriel, told a press conference held by the forces in the city of Al-Shaddadi in Al-Hasakah, northeastern Syria that Deir Al-Zour military council, the people’s protection units and the Syriac Council will participate in the battles that will begin soon.
