Yemen – Protests continue in Aden for the second day in a row

For the second day in a row, angry Yemenis continue to cut off the main streets of Aden, and traders continue to close their shops, in protest against the collapse of the Yemeni currency compared to foreign currencies and against high prices, where the city is completely paralyzed by the closure of shops, banks and markets. Economists attributed the collapse of the Yemeni currency to the existence of two financial systems in Sana’a and Aden and the continuous printing of paper currency without offset by coverage in production, in addition to draining the revenue sources.
