Iraq – Fears of disruption of investment due to the tribal threats

Economists pointed out that although Iraq is a promising country, there is a set of obstacles and fears that stand in the way of investment inflows and undermine the confidence of investors in investing in the country, represented by the threats of some tribes for investments, which may reach the threat with arms and kidnapping of the investor to the security situation, which leads to weak opportunities for economic growth and the disruption of investments, demanding the Iraqi government to provide an investor protection unit and provide an environment attractive to them.
