Iraq – Analysts: Al-Abadi’s meeting with Erdogan comes to coordinate and ease international pressure on both countries.

Analysts pointed out that the meeting of Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Ankara holds within the common interests of the two countries, especially with regard to easing the Iranian pressure on Iraq, and building strategic relations in light of the decline of the Turkish Lira and increase the water potential through the establishment of investment projects in the areas of water, agriculture and industry, although politicians believe that it came at a lost time as Al-Abadi was unable to address the mistakes that recently hit the country.
