Syria – Widow of an ISIS member denies conducting operations for the organization

The Egyptian Marwa, the widow of one of the members of ISIS was not adopting the ideology of ISIS when she joined her husband, who brought her to Syria under the pretext of working in Turkey. She tried to coexist with the bitter reality in which she was forced into by brainwashing her with promises of a better life and applying the Islamic law where she lives. After the death of her husband, who worked in administrative affairs in ISIS, she committed an escape attempt that failed because of the security points that stopped her. Marwa explained that she did not commit any crime during her stay with ISIS, just like all the other Egyptian women and children who were in the ISIS-controlled territory, and attributed the reasons for their involvement to the circumstances in which the country is going through.
