Syria – Rehabilitation of the old Raqqa Bridge begins

After the completion of all the initial supplies, the supervision committee of the old Raqqa Bridge began its restoration work, commissioned by the Joint Presidency of the Civil Council of Raqqa, as the bridge is the only link between the banks of the Northern and Southern banks of River Euphrates, as well as its importance in alleviating the suffering of the people in transporting their agricultural products between the banks of the river. Throughout the previous period, residents have used small boats with high material costs, which have health and environmental effects that affect the lives of the residents.
