The media spokesman of Hamas movement, Abdel Latif Al-Qanoua, stressed that the Zionist occupation government’s decision to renew the siege of Gaza and close Kerem Shalom crossing, which is the only crossing used in transferring goods to and from the Gaza Strip, is an unjust decision and a crime against humanity, holding the occupation government responsible. He also pointed out that the closing the crossing has political dimensions related to the “deal of the century” and the Palestinian cause, especially that the Israeli occupation waged a comprehensive war against the Palestinian people, stressing that the Palestinian people will continue their national struggle to end the occupation and secure their rights to return and establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.. It is noteworthy that the Israeli authorities recently declared the closure of the Kerem Shalom Crossing, the only crossing point for goods to the Gaza Strip until further notice in response to the fires that broke out in Israeli farms due to the kites and balloons fired by Palestinians with incendiary materials from the border fence towards Israel.
