Yemen – Houthi mines paralyze the movement of the people of Hodeidah

Demining teams on the west coast of Yemen have lifted thousands of mines from houses, roads and neighborhoods planted by the Houthis in areas recently controlled by the Yemeni army in the province of Hodeidah. The mines have claimed the lives of dozens of people and continue to threaten the lives of citizens and paralyze their movement. Salamah Hussein, a mine victim lost her leg when a landmine exploded and led to the amputation of her leg as she was buying flour to her home.
